Change Management Plan Calendar

This product is a change management plan intended to guide a four year private college in the deployment of its first distance education program.

The above change management plan is the culminating assignment for a change management course taken during 2008 at Florida State University. The assignment was broken up into four major sections over the duration of the course:

(1) Analysis of the organization & change environment.
(2) Change communicating & implementation plan.
(3)Change evaluation & monitoring plan (calender).
(4)Combined final report of all three parts.

This type of change was taken up due to the fact that it represents a key interest of the author's.

The project required that a real organization be studied throughout the change plan even if the change was only an ideal/imaginary change recommended by organization management. At the time of the course, the author becamse aware that CCC was implmenting its first distance education program.

Throughout the course of the project, I had mutiple emails and phone conversations with Dr. Gary S. of CCC. Dr. S. did explained characteristics of CCC and the conditions surrounding its transition to distance education. He did not play any role in the engineering of the change plan.

This project is an authentic change plan that could be implemented by an organization. The only limitations to the plan were that some of the details surrounding the organization were generalized as the author was not an employee of CCC and certain details in the plan were necessarily imaginary. plan has been downloaded by at least one other small four year college.

The authors role in the project was that of the sole instructional designer. All aspects of the project were designed, completed, and revised by the author. No other contributions were recieved by other individuals apart from required review meetings with the professor.
