This short evaluation proposal contains a description of how one could go about evaluating a technology education program for future teachers. The Educational Technology Integration Podcast program is designed to teach technology integration to future teachers by means of podcasts.

The evaluation plan listed here was assigned in a course on Project Evaluation during the fall of 2007.

As an assignment, the evaluation proposal was designed to familiarize the student with engineering and writing out an evaluation plan for a project or program. Students were required to design the evaluation plan for a real educational program they were involved with. The author chose the Educational Podcasting project he was a graduate assistant for.

The podcasting project evaluation here presented, as the title implies, is a general proposal for how one could go about evaluating the project. Having been written, the proposal was followed by a second stage assignment that involved creating a set of evaluation tools, surveys, and questionnaires. In the end, the tools were not put into use.

The evaluation proposal was written entirely by the author. Additional input was given by the course professor after the proposal was submitted. No other students or individuals contributed to the evaluation plan.
